The most recent addition to the boats which run from the mainland to Koh Kood is the SuperJet Ferry. This was originally called the Star HiSpeed ferry and despite completing test runs in September 2018 the service never began running.
There was a change of ownership and in mid 2019 it was re-launched under a new neame, SuperJet Ferry and services began in July 2019. The vessel is a refurbished Chinese boat, which was previously used on the delta for services around Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
There is one sailing per day year round between the mainland pier at Laem Sok and Ao Salat pier in the northeast of Koh Kood. Journey time is just 45 minutes.
As with other services, transport between the pier at Ao Salad, in the north of Koh Kood and resorts on the island is included in the ticket price.
